Nellie Studio

Nellie is a modern movement studio designed to help people move better, feel stronger, and live well. Bringing together expert-led Pilates and hands-on osteopathy, it offers an approachable alternative to traditional wellness spaces.
We first started working with Bec and Will in Summer 2025, back when the studio still had ugly blue carpets and no lease signed. They brought us in to help shape everything - strategy, positioning and tone of voice, brand identity, and website. Pretty much the lot. The only thing we didn’t touch was the interiors. Luckily, our good friend Aoife is very good at that sort of thing, so she had that covered.
The strategy piece was less about inventing something new, and more about stripping things back. There’s a lot of noise in this space - transformation language, before-and-afters, pushing people harder, faster, further. That just wasn’t them.
Once the foundations were in place, the identity followed pretty naturally. We weren’t trying to create something overly styled or trend-led. It just needed to feel like the space - calm, considered, and quietly confident.
The logo is built around a tall, sharp-edged serif. It brings a sense of clarity and structure, but still feels warm and human. It sits comfortably across both Pilates and osteopathy, without leaning too far into either. Alongside it, the ‘NS’ monogram acts as a small but important detail. It subtly nods to a Pilates mat, grounding the brand in movement without needing to spell it out. The wider system introduces a set of expressive forms, inspired by the body in motion. They’re abstract and sculptural, but always anchored by a clean baseline. The colour palette stays soft and natural - nothing too loud, just tones that feel calm, warm, and easy to sit with.
Overall, the identity doesn’t try too hard. It’s there to support the space, not compete with it. Something that feels considered at every touchpoint, but never over-designed.
