Grá Mór

Grá Mór is a place to pause, recharge, and reconnect - whether that’s over coffee, cocktails, something sweet, or something a bit more filling.

We love coffee. Probably too much. So when this landed in our inbox from our friends at The Dead Rabbit, we were pretty happy.

The brief was to create the identity for their Austin coffee shop. With a name that translates to “Big Love,” it couldn’t be shy. It needed to feel bold, warm, and full of personality, but still make sense in Austin - which has its own kind of energy.

We explored a few directions, but kept coming back to something that felt open and expressive. The identity centres around a custom logotype, paired with a playful colour palette, loose typography, and a set of human, slightly imperfect illustrations.

It’s designed to shift with the day - brighter and more open in the morning, a bit richer and more atmospheric as things roll into the evening.

Just a really nice one to work on.
